  • Solid Brass Jerome Knobs and Plates Set

    Solid Brass Jerome Door Knobs and Plates Set. Originally patented in 1909 by Russell and Erwin the “Jerome” pattern was used during much of the craftsman era. We have interpreted the original design into a lovely set of solid cast brass hardware. The set is composed of two back plates, two screw on knobs, a shaft that connects the two knobs by set screws, and four set screws. This set will work for predrilled doors, it can be made into “dummy knobs” (call for price). They do not come with any latch or locking device.

    The plates measure 2-1/2″ x 9-1/8″

    The Knobs are 2-1/4″ in diameter

    The set projects 3″ from the face of the door

    Solid Brass St. Julian Door Knobs and Plates Set. Originally patented in 1909 by Russell and Erwin the “St. Julian” pattern was widely used at the end of the Victorian era, as well as the beginning of the Craftsman period. We have interpreted the original design into a lovely set of solid cast brass hardware. The set is composed of two back plates, two slip on knobs, a shaft that connects the two knobs by set screws, and two set screws. This set will work for predrilled doors, however it can not be made into “dummy knobs”. They do not come with any latch or locking device.

    The plates measure 2-1/2″ x 8-1/2″

    The Knobs are 2-3/8″ in diameter

    The set projects 2-1/2″ from the face of the door

    Solid Brass Ossa Door Plates and Knobs Set. Originally patented in 19101 by Russell and Erwin the “Ossa” pattern was used at the through the Craftsman period. We have interpreted the original design into a lovely set of solid cast brass hardware. The set is composed of two back plates, two slip on knobs, a shaft that connects the two knobs by set screws, and two set screws. This set will work for predrilled doors, but can not be made into “dummy knobs”.     Solid Brass Concentric Knobs and Plates Set. This set is modeled after concentric patterns from the late 1800's through the 1930's. Cast out of solid brass and polished to a mirror finish, lacquered to prevent immediate tarnishing. It translates nicely when modernizing and updating an older home while trying to maintain the small details that make an older home so appealing. The set comes with two back plates, two knobs, a shaft that connects the two knobs with set screws, and two set screws. These will not work with predrilled doors,  but can be customized below to suit your needs.

    The back plates measure 2-1/2″ x 7-9/16″ at their widest points

    Solid Brass Rose Knobs and Rosettes Set. This set mimics the Victorian decadence and pattern. Cast out of solid brass and polished to a mirror finish, lacquered to prevent immediate tarnishing. It translates nicely when updating an older home while trying to maintain the small details that make an older home so appealing. The set comes with two rosettes, two knobs, a shaft that connects the two knobs with set screws, and two set screws. These will not work with predrilled doors, but can be customized below for all of your other needs.

    Solid Brass Exterior Lorraine Door Knobs and Plates Set. Originally patented in 1905 by PF Corbin the “Lorraine” pattern was  used at the end of the Victorian era and well into the Craftsman period. We have interpreted the original design into a lovely set of solid cast brass hardware. The set is composed of two back plates, two slip on knobs (one large one for the exterior, and one small one for the interior), a shaft that connects the two knobs by set screws, and two set screws. This set will work for predrilled doors, and is customizable below to suit your needs.

    The plates measure 2-3/4″ x 10-7/8″

    Brass Lion Door Knocker

    Brass Lion Door Knocker's back plate measures 3-1/4" wide and 4-1/4" tall, the overall height is 6". The strike plate measures 1-3/8" in diameter.  The knocker and  strike plate attach to your door with machine style bolts, that extend through the rear of your door.

    Iron Knuckle Sash Lock

    Iron Knuckle Sash Lock is meant for use with double hung windows. The lock comes with two pieces, the latching part, and the receiver which gets overlapped. These were found on most double hung sashes in New Orleans that predated the 1910's. The base of the latching part measures 1-7/8" x 13/16". The base of the receiver measures 1-7/8" x  3/4". It is made of cast iron and painted black.

    Iron Casement Sash Latch comes with the latch, and two different keepers (one meant for use with a pair of casements which is surface mount and one meant for use with a single casement which mortises into the jamb).

    The latch's back plate measures 2-1/8" tall, 1-1/4" wide and projects 2" from the surface of the window. The surface mount keeper measures 2" tall, 9/16" wide and projects 7/8" from the surface of the window. The mortised keeper measures 2-1/8" tall, a total of 1-3/4" deep, and mortises 1" x 1/8" into the jamb.

    Brass Casement Sash Latch comes with the latch, and three different keepers (one meant for use with a pair of casements which is surface mount and two meant for use with a single casement which mortises into the jamb).

    The latch's back plate measures 2-1/16" tall, 1-5/16" wide and projects 2" from the surface of the window. The surface mount keeper measures 2" tall, 9/16" wide and projects 7/8" from the surface of the window. The first mortised keeper measures 2-1/8" tall, a total of 1-3/4" deep, and mortises 1" x 1/8" into the jamb and the second mortised keeper measures 5/8" x 2-3/8" x 1/16".

    Plated steel hinges- several sizes and colors to choose from.

    These hinges are made from steel with plated finish in either polished brass, oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel or polished nickel. They are sold two hinges per package. The following sizes are available:

    3" x 3" in brass or bronze

    This hinge is a 5 knuckle hinge with removable pin, featuring three screw holes per side of hinge. Ball finials measure 1/2" in diameter.  This size is good for door thicknesses up to 1-3/8" or larger windows and cabinet doors. They come with #9 x 1" Screws in the same finish.

    3-1/2" x 3-1/2" in all finishes

    This hinge is a 5 knuckle hinge with removable pin, featuring three screw holes per side of hinge. Ball finials measure 9/16" in diameter.  This size is good for door thicknesses up to 1-3/8". They come with #10 x 1" Screws in the same finish.

    4" x 4" in all finishes

    This hinge is a 5 knuckle hinge with removable pin, featuring four screw holes per side of hinge. Ball finials measure 9/16" in diameter. This size is good for door thicknesses up to 1-3/4". They come with #12 x 1" Screws in the same finish.

    Solid Brass Ball Bearing Hinges - steeple finial in multiple sizes

    These hinges are made from solid brass, polished to a high shine and lacquered to prevent immediate tarnishing. The ball bearing helps to prevent the solid brass hinge from wearing down when used on heavier doors. They are sold as pairs (two hinges per package) and come with screws.

    Two sizes are available, 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and 4"x 4". Both sizes feature five knuckles with two ball bearings. 3-1/2" hinges have three screw holes per side, while 4" hinges have four.
