We have two of these Small Henry Lips Original Stained Glass pieces. They are framed in reclaimed cypress and measure approximately 28" x 51-3/4" x 1-3/8" each. These are signed A Henry Lips 11-1-80 in the corner, please see supplemental image.

The Lips family has been in the stained glass business in New Orleans for many years. Multiple family members create beautiful pieces of art that hang in some of the most affluent homes in the south. Mr. Henry is still in business, handcrafting these beauties.

These two coordinate with three larger pieces we have in a separate listing, and by no means are they small. There are nice complimentary blues and oranges as well as amber and a neutral opaque.

Victorian style Stained Glass Window. This window measures 3' wide by 4' tall including the frame. It is framed in Mahogany. It includes Flemish glass, beveled glass, Kokomo glass (in several shades of blue, green, yellows, and oranges), textured glass (in amber and violet),and some ruby glass jewels. The caming is zinc. This piece has been reinforced on the rear of the piece. It is truly spectacular in person! Four Panel Door in Mahogany

Four Panel Door in Mahogany. These doors come in 7' or 8' tall. The 8' doors can be trimmed to 7'5" tall. The 7' doors can be trimmed to 6'7" tall. The widths range from 18" wide to 36" wide in each height. The thickness of these doors is 1-3/8". These doors are sold as unfinished slabs, without bores or mortises. They do not come prehung or pre finished. They are stain grade, but can be painted if desired. The stiles of the doors are engineered mahogany to prevent warping and checking. There is a 1/4" Mahogany veneer on the stiles and rails, the panels are solid Mahogany. The images show the doors installed with a finish, they do not come pre finished. These items are too large to ship using UPS, therefore we do not sell them directly through the website. Embossed kick bolts- available in two sizes and two finishes

The embossed kick bolts in the brass finish are made from solid, cast brass. The embossed kick bolts in the powder coated black are made from cast iron. These embossed kick bolts are designed to go at the bottom of the stationary door, shutter, or window when there are pairs of doors, shutters, or windows. We highly recommend you use these with a chain bolt (or top bolt) to prevent warping of your door.

The small bolts have the following measurements:

The bolt body measures 1-7/8 ” wide and 5-1/16″ tall, the tongue sticks out 1/2″ from the body of the latch when activated. The bolt is designed to be operated with your foot, the large button at the top activates it and the small button on the face deactivates it. The bolt comes with two strike plates- one measuring 1-7/8″wide and 2-3/8″ deep, and one measuring 2″ wide and 7/8″ deep.

The large bolts have the following measurements:

Two sizes are available, 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and 4"x 4". Both sizes feature five knuckles with two ball bearings. 3-1/2" hinges have three screw holes per side, while 4" hinges have four.

These hinges are made from steel with plated finish in either polished brass, oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel or polished nickel. They are sold two hinges per package. The following sizes are available:

3" x 3" in brass or bronze

This hinge is a 5 knuckle hinge with removable pin, featuring three screw holes per side of hinge. Ball finials measure 1/2" in diameter. This size is good for door thicknesses up to 1-3/8" or larger windows and cabinet doors. They come with #9 x 1" Screws in the same finish.

3-1/2" x 3-1/2" in all finishes

Antique Stewart Iron Works Wrought Iron Gate

This gate, manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio by the Stewart Ironworks Company, measures 37" wide with the mounting hardware and primitive latch, or 31-1/2" wide as just the gate. It measures 52" tall at the center, and 42" tall at the sides. It needs a weld at the bottom right corner, the top finial is slightly bent, and may need some bondo work at the top left, but is otherwise in great shape for its age. There is a great makers plaque at the center, pictured in the gallery of images. The primitive latch is still functioning. The gate comes with the portion of the hinge that bolts to your fence post and the rod that attaches your gate to the hinge. The iron details on this gate are exquisite. Our 3 foot gate is made from flat steel, hollow steel, and cast iron components. The gate comes with two hollow steel posts, with lift off style hinges included. With each gate you get to choose your finial style- either the spear finial (which matches our loop and spear fencing), or the Fleur de Lis finial. An image of each finial can be seen in the image gallery above. We do not always have these in stock, but we would be happy to order either style for you. If you are coordinating these with our loop and spear fencing, the 3 foot gate looks best with the 2 foot or the 3 foot tall fencing.

These are newly made from 100% recycled Aluminum.

Sometimes clients come in and need to match an existing item as exactly as possible. This client's front door was destroyed when a contractor had the paint removed improperly. Being that the house sat on one of the historic, Oak tree lined main streets here in New Orleans; and combined with the fact that the door was an odd size; this door could not be replaced with something off of the shelf. We created this beauty using the client's original Leaded Glass insert- which had to be completely rebuilt- Brazilian Mahogany, and antique cypress for the applique. This door was not inexpensive, but we can work within your budget in most cases and create something unique for your property. Please contact us for any of your replacement needs.
