Antique Stewart Iron Works Wrought Iron Gate

Antique Stewart Iron Works Wrought Iron Gate

This gate, manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio by the Stewart Ironworks Company, measures 37" wide with the mounting hardware and primitive latch, or 31-1/2" wide as just the gate. It measures 52" tall at the center, and 42" tall at the sides. It needs a weld at the bottom right corner, the top finial is slightly bent, and may need some bondo work at the top left, but is otherwise in great shape for its age. There is a great makers plaque at the center, pictured in the gallery of images. The primitive latch is still functioning. The gate comes with the portion of the hinge that bolts to your fence post and the rod that attaches your gate to the hinge. The iron details on this gate are exquisite.
