Brass Pivot Hinge for Transoms
Brass pivot hinge for transoms include one hinge- the pin side and the receiver side. You will need to order two in order to do one sash. These are solid Brass with a lacquered finish.
The pin side has the following measurements:
Center to center of screw hole 1-1/8″
Face of Hinge -2-3/8″ tall, 1″ wide, and mortises 1/8″ into the face of the transom.

Brass Through Shutter Latch
Brass Through Shutter Latch. These solid brass shutter latches are polished and lacquered to prevent immediate tarnish. They are intended to be mortised through the bottom of the shutter and hook to their keeper mounted on the window sill. When open they connect to a keeper mounted on the exterior of the home. These latches take the place of both dogs and slide bolts. These latches are meant for use on shutters 1-3/8" thick or less. Each kit includes the latch, a plate for the rear of the shutter, a keeper for the sill, and a keeper for the wall. One kit will do a single shutter, you will need two kits for each window.
The latch itself (the part that goes through the shutter) measures 2-3/8" at the top and 1-15/16" at the bottom
The pull (the piece that you would operate) measures-1-1/4" tall and projects out 2" at the most (latch is 1-3/8" from the plate)
The plate connected to the latch is 2" wide and 1-1/2" tall
The plate that goes on the rear measures 1-3/8" tall and 1-1/2" wide
The sill keeper (looks like bottle opener) is 1-3/4" deep and 1" wide
The wall keeper (L shaped) is 1-1/16" tall, 15/16" wide and projects 1" from the wall

Brass Transom Latch
Brass Transom Latch can be used in conjunction with pivoting transom hinges and would mount on the bottom rail of the transom, with the strike plate being mortised to the bottom of the transom's jamb. The latch is operated by pulling up on the loop at the top. (one of our clients suggests mounting a hook to the top of a broom stick to avoid getting on a stool.) The latch measures 2-1/8" wide, 1-1/4" tall, and 5/8" deep (with the loop standing 1-3/8" deep). The strike plate measures 1-3/4" wide, 1-1/2" deep, and mortises 1-3/4" x 3/4"x 3/16" into the jamb. It is made out of solid brass.

Custom Victorian Cottage DoorSometimes clients come in and need to match an existing item as exactly as possible. This client's front door was destroyed when a contractor had the paint removed improperly. Being that the house sat on one of the historic, Oak tree lined main streets here in New Orleans; and combined with the fact that the door was an odd size; this door could not be replaced with something off of the shelf. We created this beauty using the client's original Leaded Glass insert- which had to be completely rebuilt- Brazilian Mahogany, and antique cypress for the applique. This door was not inexpensive, but we can work within your budget in most cases and create something unique for your property. Please contact us for any of your replacement needs.

The embossed kick bolts in the brass finish are made from solid, cast brass. The embossed kick bolts in the powder coated black are made from cast iron. These embossed kick bolts are designed to go at the bottom of the stationary door, shutter, or window when there are pairs of doors, shutters, or windows. We highly recommend you use these with a chain bolt (or top bolt) to prevent warping of your door.
The small bolts have the following measurements:
The bolt body measures 1-7/8 ” wide and 5-1/16″ tall, the tongue sticks out 1/2″ from the body of the latch when activated. The bolt is designed to be operated with your foot, the large button at the top activates it and the small button on the face deactivates it. Four Panel Door in Mahogany
Four Panel Door in Mahogany. These doors come in 7' or 8' tall. The 8' doors can be trimmed to 7'5" tall. The 7' doors can be trimmed to 6'7" tall. The widths range from 18" wide to 36" wide in each height. The thickness of these doors is 1-3/8". These doors are sold as unfinished slabs, without bores or mortises. They do not come prehung or pre finished. They are stain grade, but can be painted if desired. The stiles of the doors are engineered mahogany to prevent warping and checking. There is a 1/4" Mahogany veneer on the stiles and rails, the panels are solid Mahogany. The images show the doors installed with a finish, they do not come pre finished. These items are too large to ship using UPS, therefore we do not sell them directly through the website. Garden District Summerfront
Garden District summerfront comes in two pieces, the frame and the insert. These were used at the opening of the fireplace; with the frame being permanently attached to the face of the brick (or with this style, the face of a cast iron or stone mantle), and the insert balanced within the frame. They were made for when the fireplace was not in use, where the insert would be in place to not only make the opening look more attractive, but to prevent critters from getting into the home. These are newly made from 100% recycled Aluminum.
