8 Inch Iron Foot Bolt
8 Inch Iron Foot Bolt is most often used on a double door application and secures the stationary door at the bottom, it is highly recommended for use with a head bolt (or top bolt) to prevent warping. The bolt measures 9-1/4″ tall and the rear plate measures 1-7/8″ wide by 5-1/2″ tall. The bolt tongue measures 1-1/16″ when activated, and is 3/4″ wide. The bolt comes with two different keepers, one used when the threshold extends well past the door and can be mortised into, and one used when the threshold does not extend much past the door. It is important to note that in order to operate the bolt properly it must only be pulled up or down with your hand, never forward away from the surface of the door, or operated with your foot (this action would put stress on the weld that attaches the arm to the bolt).

Brass Flush Bolt
Brass Flush Bolt is used with double door sets on the stationary panel and mortises into the margin of the door at the top and bottom of the door. Two bolts would be needed to properly hold the door in place and prevent warping. These specific bolts are used when you do not want to see hardware when your doors are closed, achieving a cleaner, more modern look. the bolt measures 3/4" wide, 8" tall and 1-3/8" deep. Each bolt comes with a strike plate measuring 3/4"deep and 1-3/8" wide.

Large Brass Door Bolts can be used for interior doors that require a locking function (ex. bathrooms or bedrooms) where the door is flush with the casing. This bolt measures 6-1/8″ long and 1-1/2″ wide, stands 1-1/2″ tall from the surface of the door, and throws 1-5/8″. The keeper measures 1-1/4″ long and 1-1/2″ tall.
